Our standard range of straight stairlifts have weight limits up to 136kg (21 ½ stone) but we also offer a range of heavy duty stairlifts, with weight limits up to 190kg (30 stone).

HomeGlide Straight Stairlift

The HomeGlide is the ideal choice for straight staircases and provides a safe, reliable solution to get up and down your stairs with ease. The easy-to-use joystick and remote-control handsets make it simple to operate and navigate.

The generous padding ensures a firm and comfortable seat with plenty of support while the folding seat can be tucked away neatly when not in use, maximising the free space on the stairs. This is especially beneficial if you have narrow.

The warm grey upholstery is a modern neutral tone that will easily blend into any home, while its fire retardant, liquid repellent, and easy-to-clean properties make it an ideal choice.

Installation is also extremely quick and takes only a couple of hours – with straight stairlifts in stock, we can supply and fit them within a day of ordering!

For homes with an obstruction at the foot of the stairs like a door, our straight stairlifts can be supplied with a powered folding hinge rail option. The rail automatically lifts up and out of the way when the lift reaches the end of the track. When the lift is not in use this hinged section stays in the folded up position to avoid any obstruction at the bottom of the stairs.

Acorn Stairlifts

The Acorn stairlift is an attractive, reliable stairlift which has been built to last. It will provide you with years of dependable performance.

It is a great option for straight stairs, both in terms of performance and cost efficiency. This compact stairlift can be fitted close to the wall maximising walking space on the stairs. It boasts an array of features including a generous seat size and it can carry up to 20 stone in weight.

The Superglide’s smooth start/stop action means just that, no sudden jerks or jolts; and the near silent motion of the lift blends unobtrusively into your home. Another feature pioneered by Acorn is the on-board diagnostic control panel which alerts you to any potential problems before they arise, (e.g. the stairlift has accidentally been switched off or incorrectly parked).
